Twenty years. Eight industries. One standard.

I’m Angelo Manzano, the Senior UX Strategist behind ChrowmDesigns. I’ve spent two decades designing digital products for brands like Walt Disney World, Marriott Vacation Club, Beat Games, and Procter & Gamble, from enterprise platform overhauls to gaming interfaces used by tens of millions of people. Every project starts the same way: understanding what users actually need, then building the path that gets them there.

About

As a freelance UX strategist for hire, I offer tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs.

I have learned that user experience design is not just about making things look good; it’s about making them work well for people. For instance, while working with Marriott Vacation Club, we implemented user feedback loops that significantly enhanced the booking experience, resulting in a 30% increase in user satisfaction scores. This type of data-driven approach is essential in crafting effective user experiences.

Senior UX Strategist
Twenty years in UX leaves marks. You learn which decisions actually move products forward, and which ones just look good in a deck. Working with brands like Marriott Vacation Club, The Walt Disney Company, P&G, and PlayStation taught me that the real work happens before anyone opens a design tool. It's in the research, the stakeholder conversations, the moments where strategy and human behavior have to meet somewhere useful.
At ChrowmDesigns, I operate at the intersection of UX strategy, systems thinking, and product design. That's meant co-authoring five-year digital transformation roadmaps with C-suite leaders, rebuilding enterprise platforms from the ground up, and designing mobile experiences grounded in how people actually behave rather than how we hope they will.
I started in branding and print. That foundation shaped how I think about hierarchy, communication, and restraint. Moving through agencies and enterprise studios refined it. The past decade has been product strategy: working directly with clients, product managers, and development teams to close the gap between user needs and business outcomes.
If you need a senior UX strategist who can lead research, shape product direction, and design systems that scale, ChrowmDesigns is where that work gets done. The best results I've been part of came from close collaboration. That part hasn't changed in 20 years.

Who am I?

I create bold ideas built to break through the noise.

My philosophy centers on crafting bold ideas that resonate with users. In today's competitive landscape, it’s essential to stand out. For instance, a campaign I worked on emphasized storytelling through design, engaging users on an emotional level. This strategy proved effective, as users connected with the brand's narrative, leading to higher retention rates and increased customer loyalty.

Crafting bold ideas through UX, design, and strategy.

As a one-person creative studio, I often face the challenge of balancing multiple roles. This versatility enables me to approach projects from different angles, ensuring a holistic view. For example, during a project for a startup, I took on the roles of strategist and designer, which allowed for quick decision-making and streamlined communication. This adaptability is key in a freelance environment, where resources can be limited.

DIGITAL EXPERIENCE

Every role has taught me something new about design, people, and how great work happens when creativity meets strategy.

From learning the fundamentals of branding to executing large-scale UX projects, each experience has shaped my approach. An invaluable lesson from my agency days was the significance of user testing; it’s a practice I advocate for in every project to ensure that the end product truly meets user needs.
